Risen Ocean Park Hotel

I can't even begin to express how amazing this accommodation is; it's the best we've stayed in throughout all of Korea. I love the spacious and elegant room, the pristine bathroom, the balcony with a view, the friendly front desk staff, and the beachfront location. I only have good things to say about this hotel and hope it remains affordable.

Amazing Location. Even though I booked a Deluxe Double Room, I still had sea view to the side. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including plates and a toaster, the only thing that was missing was cutlery and chopsticks. The bathroom was clean, towels are hidden behind the mirror. As the hotel is located right next to the sea, it takes 2-3 minutes to walk to the beach. The Sokcho Eye, convenience stores and coffeeshops are located close by and it takes 5-10 minutes to walk from the Sokcho Bus Terminal to the hotel.

We got a very special deal which was real value for money. They allowed us an early check in at no extra charge. Also the location of the place made it ideal to explore Seoraksan National Park as the bus runs from near the hotel right up to the park main entrance.

It was right by the beach, and it was such a convenient place for food and cafes. Most of what we wanted to do was by the hotel. When we came in, it was very clean despite people coming in and out with sandy and wet feet.

Great location opposite the beach and a short walk from the express bus terminal. The deluxe double room was spacious, clean and had everything you need including: storage space, kettle, microwave, fridge, etc. There’s a 24h 7/11 store in the hotel and a lot of little restaurants close by. Great service as well, spoke English at the desk and stored luggage for the morning after check out. Highly recommended!
